My journey of making art began as a pastime and hobby during my teenage years. At the age of 16, I made my first mosaic and was fascinated by the process. I was captivated by the effortless beauty of exotic hardwoods and they have become my primary medium in my pieces. The individual pieces of my mosaics are cut out and shaped with a scroll saw and sander. I have fallen in love with the idea using the simplest equipment possible to create a beautiful and truthful piece of art
